Browsing the website

The website has no advertising pixels, submission forms or account requirement. Setup checklist ticks stay in the current page and are not saved or sent. Fonts and images are served with the site, with no embedded third-party video player. The public website does not require sign-in. Our separate private review site uses Cloudflare Access and its authentication cookies.

Public website traffic

On gazecut.com, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits, popular pages, referring sites and page performance. It does not use analytics cookies or local storage, and does not track people across websites. We do not send email contents, recordings or licence details to analytics. Cloudflare does not log URL query strings for this service. Browser blocking can leave visits uncounted.

Analytics is limited to the public marketing website. It is not added to the desktop app, private review site or customer download service. Read about Cloudflare Web Analytics for its privacy and measurement approach.

Getting in touch

When public contact details are configured, an email link opens your own mail application. Nothing is sent until you send the message yourself. The website does not receive or store the message. Your email provider and Microsoft 365 handle its delivery. We retain the message in GazeCut Support and send a copy to the founder's company inbox for follow-up. An automatic acknowledgement to a new sender confirms receipt; it is not a purchase or a confirmed waitlist place.

Early-access requests

Early-access signup is handled by email. If you send that request, we keep your address and request in our support mailbox to confirm it and send GazeCut full-release availability and the licence offer. A beta enquiry or support request alone does not add you to this list. Reply "remove me" to withdraw; we stop release-offer emails and retain only the record needed to honour that request. This is not consent to unrelated marketing.

Purchases and refunds

When checkout opens, Stripe will collect the payment details and the billing information needed to show your total, process payment and handle applicable tax. We receive the purchase reference, payment status, buyer email, billing country and transaction details needed to verify an order, deliver GazeCut, provide support and handle a refund or dispute. We do not ask you to email card details, and our GazeCut order records do not store your full card number or card security code. Stripe's own privacy notice will be available at checkout. A purchase does not add you to the early-access mailing list or consent to unrelated marketing.

Downloads, licences and support

Our private Cloudflare order service stores your checkout email, opaque payment and order references, the date access became ready, delivery and recovery email status, installation codes and signed licence files. It uses your private order link to check the latest payment status with Stripe before each download or activation. The link is a bearer credential: anyone with it can use your order until access is closed, so keep it private. We email it through Cloudflare Email Service and can resend it to the checkout address if requested. We keep activation history to enforce the two-device limit and handle reviewed replacements. Support messages may include the information you choose to send us. Please leave out recordings, transcripts, card details and licence files unless we arrange a secure support method.

Purchase and support records are held in restricted company systems and with the service providers needed for payment, email and private downloads. Those providers may process data outside your country. We keep records only as long as reasonably needed for delivery, support, accounting, disputes and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them. If you want access to, correction of or deletion of information we hold, or have a privacy concern, use the GazeCut support contact route. We will explain if a legal retention duty prevents deletion of a particular record.

Hosting

This website runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser details to deliver and secure the site. On the separate private review site, Access also processes sign-in identity and access events. This website does not collect recordings or accept file uploads.

See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its handling of this information. Opening the site directly from a local folder does not use Cloudflare hosting or Access.

The desktop product

GazeCut analyzes face and head direction on your computer to select a camera view. It does not identify people or match faces to identities. Saved camera setups contain direction and setup information, rather than facial identity profiles.

Recordings, finished videos, project information, and saved setups are stored locally. Recordings can contain your face, voice, and anything else you choose to capture. GazeCut does not upload video or audio for camera direction.

Optional AI publishing text can involve sending transcript text and your instructions to a deliberately chosen provider, with permission for that video. You review and upload your finished video yourself. These product features are separate from this website.
